Popping the Question

anastasias-sapphire-blue-wedding-ring-setWhen you find that special girl that you want to spend the rest of your life with, it can be a very exciting time. However, if you want to move into marriage with this girl, you’re going to have to get to that point first. The most important part of the process is proposing. Until you propose, you can’t really start planning a wedding or your life together. When you are ready to pop the question, it can be a very intimidating experience.

When you propose, you’re going to have to be a little creative. Over the years, guys have tried just about everything imaginable to propose to their brides. This means that you’re going to have to come up with a pretty good idea to try to top what’s already been done. If your future spouse has a friend who is already married, you can rest assured that she’s heard the story of her proposal, and it’s up to you to do it bigger and better in most cases.

Once you have brainstormed and came up with an idea for a proposal, it’s time to put it into action. Everything has to be just right. You have to plan the time, the place, the setting, and possibly get help.

Besides the event itself, another really important factor to take into consideration is the ring. You may need to get some assistance choosing the right wedding ring sets. Getting some input from your future spouse might not hurt, but you also don’t want to completely ruin the surprise. Talking to one of her friends about this may be a good idea.

Once you have chosen the ring and set everything up in advance, it’s time to pop the question. Before you get ready to do it, you need to prepare your mind. Clear your mind of everything else that is going on in your life and focus on her. Think about your life together and how wonderful it’s going to be.

At that point, get down on one knee and ask her to marry you. Don’t look back and don’t worry about what she’s going to say. If you truly have a good relationship and you have yourself out there, there’s a good chance that she’s going to say yes. Then you’ll have to get started planning her wedding and the rest of your life together. It won’t be easy, but it will be exciting.
